Vol. I · Updated April 2026 Methodology

How it works.

How every listing earns its place on LymphaticDrainageFinder.

1107 practitioners 76 cities 45 countries 4.9★ avg
Step 01Quality filtering

Every practitioner on LymphaticDrainageFinder meets an editorial quality bar before being listed. Each candidate passes through a multi-stage quality filter:

  • Minimum review volume — a practitioner with too few public reviews doesn't have enough signal to be evaluated fairly.
  • Rating threshold — average rating must meet a minimum bar, calibrated per category.
  • Category match — the practitioner must explicitly offer lymphatic drainage, not just mention it. Off-topic listings are excluded.
Step 02Editorial review

After quality filtering, each city page is reviewed for name errors, mistranslations, photo quality, and category fit.

Ranking within a city is automatic: sorted by rating, then by review volume. Featured listings appear at the top — clearly labeled.

Trust ScoreThe five dimensions we measure

Each practitioner listing receives a Trust Score — a composite computed from public business signals, on a 0–100 scale, displayed as a letter grade A–F. Five dimensions, weighted:

1. Verification — 30%

Google Places business status, plus detection of recognised certification keywords in the listing name (e.g. Dr. Vodder Method, Renata Franca Method, LANA-certified for lymphatic drainage). A clean, structured profile that explicitly references its training pathway scores higher.

2. Activity — 20%

Public review volume as a proxy for ongoing activity, plus profile freshness when the data is available. A practitioner with hundreds of recent reviews signals an active practice.

3. Transparency — 20%

Profile completeness — address, phone, geographic coordinates, photograph, business hours. A practitioner that publishes all of these makes it easy for clients to make an informed decision.

4. Engagement — 20%

Review count × average rating, with an anti-gaming cap: a 5★ rating built on a single review can never overtake a 4.6★ rating built on hundreds. Quality scales with volume, not in spite of it.

5. Conflict — 10%

Whether the listing has any undisclosed affiliations or sponsorship signals. Default is full marks — only deducted when something problematic is detected.

The formula

Trust_Score = (V×30% + A×20% + T×20% + E×20% + C×10%) × 100

  • 90–100 → A (exceptional — extensively documented)
  • 80–89 → B (strong — well-rounded signals)
  • 70–79 → C (acceptable — essentials verified)
  • 60–69 → D (fair — minimal proof)
  • Below 60 → F (insufficient transparency)

When a practitioner doesn't have enough public signals to compute a meaningful score, we display "—" rather than an arbitrary F. Absence of public data is not evidence of poor practice.

What the Trust Score is NOT

Not a clinical assessment. Not a measure of treatment outcome. Not a personal endorsement. It is a transparent summary of public data signals — nothing more, nothing less.

Opt out, correct or contest

Practitioners can use our contact form to request removal, correction of inaccurate data, or to contest a specific dimension score. Response usually within a few business days.

Step 03Refresh cadence

The directory is refreshed on a rolling monthly cycle. Ratings and review counts are updated; stale entries are removed; new practitioners that pass the quality bar are added.

If you spot something out of date, get in touch. Corrections are usually applied within one refresh cycle.

Step 04What we don't claim

This directory does not medically license practitioners. It does not check practitioner credentials with national regulators. It does not guarantee outcomes, safety, or price. It surfaces public signals — rating, reviews, presence, photography — and explains how they are weighed.

Treat LymphaticDrainageFinder as a starting point, not a substitute for your own judgment. Always call the practitioner before booking, and always talk to a licensed healthcare professional before beginning any lymphatic drainage protocol.
