The Face Gua Sha Anatomy Map
Where to press, which direction, and for how long
Facial gua sha works. But 90% of tutorials online show you the tool without teaching you the map.
This is the map. Print it. Do it daily. Your face will look different in 14 days.
Start with light pressure. Your skin should be slightly pink, never red.
THE 5 ZONES
each zone = 30 seconds
- Neck: downward strokes along the sides, toward collarbones (opens the drainage)
- Jawline: from chin to ear, 5 slow strokes each side
- Cheek: from nose to temple, 5 upward-and-out strokes
- Under-eye: feather-light, inward-to-outward, never pressure
- Forehead: from brow to hairline, upward only
THE RULES
ignore any tutorial that contradicts
- Always toward lymph nodes (neck → collarbone)
- Light pressure — this isn't deep tissue massage
- Damp skin + oil (dry gua sha damages skin)
- Store your stone in the fridge (colder = better de-puffing)
- Clean the stone weekly with mild soap
TIMING
consistency beats intensity
- Morning: 5 minutes before makeup
- Evening: 3-5 minutes after cleanser
- You only need ONE tool — not 5 fancy ones
- Results visible at day 7, compound at day 30
- Pair with sleeping mask for 2x results
